Tracy Ford has a deep career in ESG, in a variety of roles spanning nearly 30 years. He is an expert assessor, conducting well over 4,000 assessments covering multiple sectors in 42+ countries during his career with CSCC, Price Waterhouse Coopers, STR, and Underwriters Laboratory. Previously, Tracy has worked in Client Services for CSCC, as Compliance Manager for Saks Incorporated and Office Depot, and as an independent assessor and consultant for STR, BV, SGS, and UL. He has successfully spearheaded CSR, quality, and sustainability programs for several major retail organizations.
Tracy worked with Altria Group and R.J. Reynolds on the implementation of the first GAP assessments to audit environmentally and socially sustainable good agricultural practices in 2009 – 2010 and 2012 – 2014. He also worked on-site with Altria Group as a 3rd party liaison for UL, working in several facets of social and environmental sustainability from 2010 - 2012. Since 2016, Tracy has been instrumental in assisting with the development and implementation of the GAP Connections Certification Program and has conducted over 2,000 GAPC assessments.
Tracy has a bachelor’s degree in political science and government from San Diego State University. He is a Certified Social Compliance Auditor (CSCA) through APSCA and a certified SA-8000 and ISO-9001 auditor. He previously lived in Latin America and is fluent in English and Spanish.
